Nintendo has just revealed that Min Min from ARMS is the next DLC character joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Smash Bros. series creator Masahiro Sakurai made the reveal during his live stream showcase this morning.
She is set for launch on June 29, and will come included with her unique stage and background music.
In the trailer, Nintendo showed all of the ARMS fighters battling for the invitation. Min Min ultimately grabbed it and defeated all of her opponents.
Min Min is a member of a royal noodle family and hails from the Mintendo Noodle House. She fights using fiery attacks and kicks, and in ARMS, she aims to bring home the championship belt in the name of her family.
As expected, Min Min specializes in ranged combat. Her long arms make for far-reaching punches and grabs, and she can also switch between augments on her fists to change the effects of her strikes.
We see that she is able to deflect projectiles back at her opponents with an up kick attack. Sakurai also notes that though her long-reaching punches can be strong, they can be easily dodged from up close.
Here Final Smash sees other ARMS fighters join in on the battle, delivering a powerful barrage of attacks.
Min Min is the first character to be released in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Fighters Pass volume 2. She will be followed by five more fighters set to release up through the end of 2021.
